GAME OVERVIEW
There are 7 different levels to explore, and each one is totally different! There are all these weird puzzles, items you can find, creepy places, and freaky things that want to hurt you. Every level is like its own little scary adventure, I guess.
And, like, they’ll keep adding more levels during early access as they make the game the most terrifying Backrooms experience ever, I think?
Also, when you die or finish playing, everything – like the rooms, hallways, and where the stuff is – changes up. So, it never gets boring. You will never know what to expect even if you play again. Lethal Company
The game is made with Unreal Engine 5, and it’s, like, the first one to make you feel like you’re trapped in the Backrooms. The levels are generated randomly, so they look super detailed and immersive. You’ll feel like you’re actually stuck there, lost, and can’t get out.
You can either go in by yourself or team up with up to 5 other people for a total of 6 players. There’s, like, this voice chat thing too where it changes depending on where you are, like, behind walls or in different rooms. You can join or make your own lobby, either private or public.
So, you’re, like, part of a research team sent to explore the Backrooms, but then something goes wrong, and you’re stuck. Now, your only goals are to survive and escape. Every creepy thing, every level, and every decision they made in the game is based on all the creepy online Backrooms stories. They take the lore super seriously.
In Level 0, you’re supposed to collect stuff and record weird things, but you’ve also gotta keep an eye on your sanity because the creepy creatures that live there want to kill you. It’s… it’s a lot.
