GAME OVERVIEW
Blasphemous 2 is all about The Penitent One coming back… and it’s bad. It picks up right after the free Wounds of Eventide DLC for the first game, where, like, this giant Heart in the sky shows that The Miracle is coming back, and there’s gonna be this new miracle baby thing… uh, yeah, creepy.
So, The Penitent One wakes up in this weird, totally unfamiliar place, and he’s not even where he thought he’d be resting forever. Now he’s stuck in this endless loop of dying, coming back to life, and just dying again. The only thing he can do is wander around this dangerous world trying to figure out what’s going on and uncovering stuff that no one should probably know.
And of course there are these gross terrifying monsters everywhere, just waiting to finish him off. Other than that, there are these gigantic, twisted bosses hiding in the shadows, ready to make sure you do not make it out alive. CAPTURED
It’s not gonna be easy. But, um, the good news is there’s a ton of ways to get stronger and customize your skills, plus new weapons that, like, burn with rage, so maybe there’s a chance to win? Probably not though.
