GAME OVERVIEW
Do you hear that? The knocking in the dead of night? The footsteps creeping down the hallway? Do you see the shapes moving in the shadows? The danger’s right in front of you, but you can’t see it—yet.
Above the world we know is something way worse: the world of the supernatural. In MetaPhysical, you and up to five friends can go on a hunt to stop these creepy creatures and end their evil plans! Whether it’s an ordinary ghost or something much worse, your job is to figure out what it is and then take it down.
But… you could also challenge your friends in PvP mode and compete against them. Or maybe you wanna play as one of the creatures and freak everyone out! Or, you can be a hunter and kick your ghostly friend out! Gloomwood
Before you start hunting, you’ll need to get the right gear. The catalog’s got everything you’ll need: from EMF tools to carpets that hide the devil’s traps. Once you’re ready, you can pick your next mission in the newspaper. You won’t know what kind of creature you’re facing, or how tough it’ll be, until you get there.
When you arrive at the haunted house, grab your gear and start looking for signs of the ghost. Bro, your journal has info on all kinds of creepy creatures, so you will know what you are up against. Once you figure it out, you can get to work. If it’s a regular ghost, you’ll need to burn its remains.
Every map has a small graveyard with graves marked with names. You’ll find notes around the house with names on them, and when most of the notes point to one grave, you’ll know where to go. Pour gas and salt on the bones, light it up, and if it catches fire, you’ve done it. If it gets too dangerous, you can always bail in your car.
The game’s got random stuff happening every time: ghost names, where the notes are, how tough the creature is—it changes each time, so no hunt will ever feel the same.
