The latest version of Undead Realm： Ego is available for direct download to your PC with a single click. It is a Psychological horror game released on 10 January 2025.
GAME OVERVIEW
“Undead Realm: Ego” is this super creepy live-action horror game. You play as Ren Xing, this guy who wakes up in a weird school, and there are other survivors there too. The whole thing is about trying to get out of the school, but along the way you have to make choices and look for clues to figure out what is really going on. What you do affects how the story ends, so yeah, it’s kinda intense.
This is my third FMV game, after “Try and Love” and “Back.” If you’ve played those, thanks a ton for checking out this new one! And if you’re new to my games, welcome! I am really glad you’re here.
I also want to give a huge shout-out to everyone who helped make Undead Realm: Ego. The shoot was crazy. It got super cold out there, and we were filming in this old school out in the middle of nowhere with no power or water. We had to pull all-nighters just to finish it. Cursed Digicam | 呪われたデジカメ
The actors were seriously amazing. I was freezing, even with a jacket, but they were still working in short sleeves and skirts… They’re so professional. I don’t want to say that “Undead Realm: Ego” is the best FMV out there, but I really believe our cast and crew are the hardest-working people in the domestic movie-game world.
“Try and Love” was my first FMV, and honestly, I’d rate it a 2 or 3 out of 10. I was just testing it out, you know? Then “Back” was my first attempt at horror FMV, and I’d give it a 6. For “Undead Realm: Ego,” I’d give it a 6.5. That extra half-point is for the cast and crew, and maybe a little for myself for trying out some new shooting styles.
Everyone wants to make a game that scores above an 8. I always dream about that, and that’s what I was aiming for when I started this. But… I gotta admit…
