GAME OVERVIEW
Witchfire is this super intense single-player RPG shooter made by the same people who made Painkiller and Bulletstorm. You’re gonna have to go on these really dangerous missions, taking down enemies to get stronger and collect better weapons. You can either run back to your safe spot or, if you’re feeling gutsy, you can try to take on these crazy strong guardians called Familiars. They are basically the witch’s bodyguards and they’re terrifying.
To beat the Witch of the Black Sea and her army of witchfire-powered monsters, you’ve gotta be smart and skilled. If you die, though, don’t worry—you get one shot to go back and get what you lost, or you can come up with a new plan and try again.
The world is huge and scary with all kinds of different places to explore. Every time you finish a fight you get stronger thanks to this system called Arcana, which helps you level up your character and weapons. There are like, tons of ways to build your character and take on the witch’s forces. The Infected
So, only the worst of the worst people get turned into these things called Preyers—like undead assassins powered by witchfire, which sounds pretty messed up, right? But in the Hermitory (which is kinda like your base), you can pick different weapons, spells, and artifacts to customize your Preyer however you want.
On your missions, you can either take what you find and run, or if you’re feeling really brave, you can challenge the witch’s Familiars to unlock new places and get super powerful upgrades and loot.
There’s this big mystery too about ships crashing near the witch’s land, and you need to find this ancient artifact to help the Church beat the witches. But, like, it’s not gonna be easy.
And during Early Access, the game is gonna keep changing with new enemies, areas, and weapons, so you can be part of making it even better. Just… you better be ready for all the danger!
