GAME OVERVIEW
Oh my god, okay, so, like… you’re supposed to lead the Cult of Cthulhu? Yeah, that’s like, the scariest thing ever. You gotta make these huge decisions that could totally change everything for your followers, and like, perform these… creepy rituals? You know, the ones that might make your brain melt? You’ll be building a city in this messed-up world where everything’s kinda… falling apart and, um, yeah, the line between sane and insane is like, totally blurry. Can you even survive the horrors you’re about to let loose?
And you’re not just some crazy disaster-bringer, okay? You’re actually a… a messenger? Like, a herald for cosmic rebirth? Seriously, it’s not about causing chaos—it’s about, like, making things evolve… or, I dunno, letting everything go to hell? I mean, humanity’s pretty much nothing, right? Just a tiny blip in the huge, scary universe. The only way to, like, make anything better is by waking up Cthulhu. But… that’s a HUGE thing to do. Like, shaking the very fabric of the universe, no big deal.
But here’s the thing: only the strongest cult can even hope to wake the Old One. So you have to, like, expand these cities and make sure they’re not just surviving, but, like, thriving? And, oh! You get to mess with all these weird, powerful beings like Dagon and other… Lovecraftian things? Yeah, that’s as freaky as it sounds. You’ll do all these insane rituals that might give you crazy powers—or make everything even worse, honestly.
But, yeah, there’s one thing for sure: you can’t escape the fact that you’re just a tiny speck in this crazy, horrible world. So, the non-believers? They’re basically just, like… useful for resources, land, and people. You could, I guess, conquer them or sacrifice them or maybe even try to convert them—whatever gets you closer to your… insane goal. I mean, good luck with that.
